Happy Fourth of July!
This has been a great 4th of July. We were able to keep Sara awake until after the fireworks, it was an hour and a half past her bedtime. At first, she was a little nervous and not sure what was going on, but after a couple of minutes she leaned backed on her momma and relaxed. Cora really enjoyed the show. We hope everyone had a great Fourth of July.

Dinner at Osaka's!
This was Sara's first trip to a Japanese steakhouse and she had a great time. Pay attention to her face. This was at the beginning of the dinner and they always have a big fire on the grill. She didn't cry, but it took her a couple of minutes to laugh about it.

Getting the tire fixed!
I had to put this picture one here. For two mornings in arow, we had to go and have a flat tire fixed. We are thinking that Sara thinks Big 10 Tire is the place to go when at the beach.

Lunch at the Crab Trap!
We had to get a flat tire fixed today so we decided to make a few other stops while we were out. The most important stop was at the Crab Trap, an open air resturant on the beach. Just imagine eating seafood, looking at the beach and listening to the ocean and feeling the wind as it blows throught the restruant. It has become one of the places we look forward to eating at when we come to Destin.

When Cora's plate arrived, it was full of popcorn shrimp. The shrimp did not last long.

We have discovered that Sara likes fried shrimp and corn on the cobb. Once she started eating it she forgot about the rest of her meal.

Sara is very active sometimes while she is eating. Just before this was taken, she would do a little dance everytime she put a bite of hotdog in her mouth.

First full day at the Beach!
Our first day at the beach was great. Everyone had a great time. There was one thing that we thought was funny. Sara does not mind getting in the ocean, but the sand is a whole different story. She refused to walk or even put one toe in it. And if you started to set her down she kept raising her legs up. It was real funny!
Sara loves the water, but here she was more fascinated with the fountains.

Sorry for taking so long
Sorry for taking so long on getting more published. The Johnson 4 are on vacation this week and we will try to keep the blog update during this time. I did put a few photos on this morning and remeber to look at more pictures all you have to do is click on one of the photos.

Cora's Awana Grand Prix Car!
This past Wednesday was the Awana Grand Prix and for the last three years Cora and I have built her a car. It might be hard to tell from the picture, but this year she wanted her car to be like my truck. I don't have flames on my truck, but she needed something besides just a black truck hauling weights. Her car did really well this year. Of all the cars in her age group, around thirty, she came in fouth overall. It is a double elimination race and this is the first time we raced more than three races. We were very proud of her. Some of you are thinking that I did all the work, but Cora did about 50% of the work.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SARA!
We celebrated Sara's first birthday on Saturday. She had a big time as did we. She has changed so over this past year. We are blessed to have two great daughters. There were a lot of friends and family who came and missed those who were not able to attend.

First cookout in the new house!
We finally are sleeping in the new house and to celebrate we had a cookout. It is still hard to believe that this house is ours. It is so much bigger and we do not know what to do with extra room. We are still waiting on some furniture to be delivered and we still have not picked out furniture for other areas of the house.
