Gulf World!

To take a break from the sun, we took the girls to Gulf World. It is like a smaller version of Sea World. We had fun and got to see the sights of Panama City

Everyday after breakfast, Sara decides that it is time to go outside. First she goes to the door in her pajamas and reaches for the door knob and starts crying. Second, we wrestle her to get her swim diaper and swim suit on. Third, she stands at the door and cries until we get ready and open it. Finally, she talks all the way to the elevator. It is funny when she gets on the elevator, she walks to the back and sometimes bends her knees when it starts moving.

Happy Fourth of July!

This has been a great 4th of July. We were able to keep Sara awake until after the fireworks, it was an hour and a half past her bedtime. At first, she was a little nervous and not sure what was going on, but after a couple of minutes she leaned backed on her momma and relaxed. Cora really enjoyed the show. We hope everyone had a great Fourth of July.

Dinner at Osaka's!

This was Sara's first trip to a Japanese steakhouse and she had a great time. Pay attention to her face. This was at the beginning of the dinner and they always have a big fire on the grill. She didn't cry, but it took her a couple of minutes to laugh about it.

Getting the tire fixed!

I had to put this picture one here. For two mornings in arow, we had to go and have a flat tire fixed. We are thinking that Sara thinks Big 10 Tire is the place to go when at the beach.

Lunch at the Crab Trap!

We had to get a flat tire fixed today so we decided to make a few other stops while we were out. The most important stop was at the Crab Trap, an open air resturant on the beach. Just imagine eating seafood, looking at the beach and listening to the ocean and feeling the wind as it blows throught the restruant. It has become one of the places we look forward to eating at when we come to Destin.

When Cora's plate arrived, it was full of popcorn shrimp. The shrimp did not last long.

We have discovered that Sara likes fried shrimp and corn on the cobb. Once she started eating it she forgot about the rest of her meal.

Sara is very active sometimes while she is eating. Just before this was taken, she would do a little dance everytime she put a bite of hotdog in her mouth.

First full day at the Beach!

Our first day at the beach was great. Everyone had a great time. There was one thing that we thought was funny. Sara does not mind getting in the ocean, but the sand is a whole different story. She refused to walk or even put one toe in it. And if you started to set her down she kept raising her legs up. It was real funny!
